Historic visit: Pope Francis visited Cuba
On September 20th Pope Francisco held a religious service at the Revolution Square in Havana, and other central squares of eastern cities of Holguin and Santiago de Cuba. He also visited the place of pilgrimage for all Cubans - El Cobre - at Santiago de Cuba. During the visit, the Pope had several meetings with Cuban leadership, clergy, young people and Cuban families.
On September 18th, 2015 the agency Ancon welcomed delegations from different countries that arrived to Cuba with the purpose of assisting to the religious service headed by the Pope Francisco with the participation of the Cuban people and Catholics from all over the world.
During the Pope Francis's visit, all the delegations that visited the Island through Ancon used the services of professional guides and interpreters provided by the agency. The high level service offered by our staff guaranteed the satisfaction of the most demanding clients. During 4 days, which last the Pope's visit to Cuba, Ancon organized special tours for different delegations what contributed to the dissemination of Cuban culture and history.
The agency Ancon also organized a meeting with the delegation of Cayman Islands and teachers of the Cuban school "Jose Julian Marti Perez" for the purpose of the donation of school materials.
